If you get to the resort early, there are plenty of things to do that will allow you to start your vacation early. There is hiking, fishing, a sandy beach and shopping nearby, among other things. If your cabin is available, you may check in early but will be charged $15 for an early check-in.

12. How soon should I book my reservation?
Answer: We book 1 year in advance and offer our returning guests first choice to rebook for the same cabin/lodge for the same days of the week next year. We often fill up quickly, especially for weekends, and the only way to guarantee you get the dates you want is to book as soon as possible.

Answer: Yes, due to problems in the past with non-paying guests taking advantage of our facilities and damages caused by them, we have now started collecting a fee for all visitors to the resort. Each vehicle must have a visitors pass and pay a fee of $5 per day to enter the facility. Each paying guest will receive a certain number of passes depending upon the units booked, all additional vehicles must pay the visitors fee. Vehicles found without tags will be asked to purchase a tag or be subject to towing. This is for the protection of our guests who have paid for the use of the sites.
17. Do you allow 4-wheelers or golf carts.
Answer: No. We do not allow golf carts or 4-wheelers due to the problems created by them, such as small children driving around, off and on roads, speeding, etc. All areas of the resort are accessible by regular vehicles for anyone who is handicapped and we ask our guests to abide by this rule for the overall safety of all guests.
18. Do you count children or infants in the number of paying guests?
Answer: Yes, children and babies do count towards the number of guests staying in a cabin or lodge. Babies and children normally use as much water and other utilities as an adult and so we count each person.
